It's that time of year again when i don some wigs, a gown or two and join my City pals for a charity extravaganza of music, mayhem and madness.
This year by popular demand we are re-staging Lloyd's the Musical, a parody of the London Insurance market through the ages and it's attempts to eliminate face to face trading and go electronic instead (which will never happen!).
The show is being held at Balls Brothers wine bar in Minster Court on Tuesday 15th November at 5.30 with our show set to come on at about 7.00 before the cast is too paralytic. There are some great songs, a band, some St. Trinians' girls, and much more besides.
With over 150 seats already sold we will raise a few thousand for charity, especially as we also get a percentage of wine sales and faithfully expect people to drink at least one bottle each.
It just proves that you don't have to be drunk or even have a drink to be part of and have a great time at events such as this. being probably the only sober person there however, I ill take some discreet photos of the mayhem that ensues. I will post a few pics next week.
